Unfortunately, I can not give an answer as to when this will be done. I have to do it on the side, when not working on Un-men. I also refuse to just rush it at this point. To date, after six+ years of working in Hysteria stories, both self published and for various publishers, I've NEVER seen a DIME of profits from the book. So if it aint for money then it's for love. And you don't rush love ;)

Hey Mike, do you normally go back in tighter than this, or go straight to inks?
ReplyDeleteUsually like this, or even looser. Only time I tighten up pencils is when I have a new editor who isn't used to seeing how I work.

ReplyDeleteLooks frikkin' great, Mister Hawthorne... and we'll take it whenever you get it out!

Awesome work, as always.
ReplyDeleteI heard through the grapevine that you print out your scanned pencils in non-photo blue on a large-format printer then ink that. True?
Absolutely....TRUE! Been doing that for years, and love it all ta' pieces.
