CONAN Road of Kings #1 available for pre-order

Hey everyone,

The first issue of my run on CONAN with writer Roy Thomas is available for pre-order. Ask your local comic shop to reserve a copy for you.

    Man, I like the panel layout and storytelling on this page. Pretty darn nice. When you get the idea of what is going on without dialog, your job as a true artist is done.

    Thanks Patrick. I try to make it so that the dialogue is never really needed. Doesn't always work, but I try :-)

    Yeah, I get that dialog is important and it is, but like the great silent movies, I really respect when artist take some actual pride in storytelling. For my money, it is a lost art. Very few, you included, seem to be clinging to the beauty of telling a clear, entertaining and plausible story through visuals.
