Marvel has floated some preview pages from my run Deadpool, and so I figured I'd put a process post up here. You process junkies can compare the pencils and inks.
This is really amazing. I was blown away when I saw your concept sketches, but this just takes the cake. Marvel made an amazing decision having you tag team with Tony Moore on this. You are simply knocking it out of the park.
Wow! These pages are perfect. I know you are a humble man, but you should be really proud of this artwork. I will be pre-selling the heck out of these issues @ Comix Connection.

Thanks so much, man! I really do appreciate it.
Tony's not only a good friend, but a hell of an artist. I gotta work hard to keep up the quality of the book.
Man, that stuff looks great, Mike. Glad Marvel was smart enough to hire you.

Thanks, pal! I really appreciate that. Can't wait for our signing! We'll have a Deadpool party!
Geez Mike, these are some amazing pages. "Deadpool" and "Mike Hawthorne" are words that just belong together, y'know?
Can't wait to read your run!
Thanks, Dan! Yeah, it's a natural fit. Who'd a'thunk!? ;-)
BTW - Heard about your finishing your new book! Awesome news! Can't wait to see it on stands!
Mike
Second panel on page three is insane. Way to push the camera angle from below to help the mood a bit there. Great decision.
And all that glass. Man, killer on your eyes I'm sure.
Thanks, Pat! I have to admit, I like how that page came out too! Fun, crazy stuff they have me drawing!
