Un-men Vol. 2 art

One of the pages from the new book I mentioned in my last post. I got to play with page layout a bit, and it ended up working out well. One of the many reasons I'm proud of this new trade paper back! ;-)

Un-men V.2 - Children of Paradox!

I just got my comps for my new book "Un-men Vol.2 - Children of Paradox". I gotta say, this thing looks good! The design is fantastic, and everything printed really well. Plus, this trade collects the last eight issues, so it's hefty!

Check it out -

I'm so proud of this book! It really came out great.

If you're local comic shop won't carry the book, you can always order it online.

Loomis!

I swung by the York Emporium today and found this gem by the teacher of teachers, Andrew Loomis! Man, I'm going to eat this thing up over the next few weeks. Loomis is one of those guys that truly forgot more about drawing and painting then most of us knew to begin with.

Here's a few pics from the book.

Changes at Thinktankcomics.com

Hey everyone,

So, Jamal and I are making a few changes over at ThinktankComics.com. We'll be reconfiguring many parts of the site, including the store and archive.

The main thing that will affect readers will be that we're moving from posting new pages every weekday, to posting them three times a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

I have all this stuff completely finished, so it's not that we're running out of story. In fact, I have the next several chapters already uploaded and ready to go.

We're switching the schedule for two reasons. 1. To allow me some time to come up with new material before I run out of what I have now - including finishing One Man Gang - while I still plug away at my daily work load. 2. To allow time for new readers to jump on.

That last one is the biggest reason. The readership of the webcomic has been spotty, with some weeks being great and others slow. One of the worries is that people are having a hard time keeping up with the webcomic. So, we're hoping to slow it down and allow new readers a chance to jump on. It also buys me a little time to try and promote the site.

Anyway, thanks to all of you who have been reading regularly. You can look forward to regular content for the foreseeable future, including completely new material.

Best,
Mike

Finished TMNT pinup

I finished up that pin up for the Tales of the TMNT. Nice, fun piece. I love jumping in and out of these type of short term gigs, and love bringing my style to these classic characters.

Go to the official TMNT site for more info on the comic - www.ninjaturtles.com

There's a quick little interview I did while at the Baltimore Comicon up at The Quater Bin. Luke is a really nice guy. Go by and give it a read. He recorded the interview, so an audio file might be available soon too. I'll keep you posted.
