hey all,
Well, we're all finally back home after a week long stay at the hospital for my daughter. She's doing really well, but isn't compelety out of the woods. Still a few weeks of tests and antibiotics for her. BUT, she's home and healthy. Thanks to everyone who contacted me with well wishes and to ask how we're doing. If I haven't gotten back to you yet, it's just because I'm really swamped here at home base.
Look for lots of catch up posts in the coming weeks.

Glad she is back home. Not much worse knowing you have a sick kid and there isn't much you can do but sit there and hope she gets better. Continued wishes.

Good grief! I stop checking some of my blogs for a couple weeks and this is what happens!?! Sheesh, really sorry to hear about your ordeal, but very glad to hear the little one is back home with you. Patrick is right, there's nothing that can gray your hair faster than a sick child. Thank God she's okay. I'm sure a bit more of your sanity is gone now Mike, but you're used to that, eh? Heh heh.

Thanks man. The folks of York Hospital's Pediatric ward were a God send, and took good care of us. The chief Doc there is fantastic.
But, yeah, I do have a much greyer beard all of a sudden! No shit!
