Comix Creator Cookout time!

Hey everyone!

It's that time again! That time of the year when my friends at Comix Connection and I throw a cookout for everyone, and collect a ton (literally!) of food donations for the Central PA Food Bank!

I've explained in a previous post  why this event is so near and dear to my heart. It means the world to me that folks come out year after year to support us and the Food Bank, but it's hard to believe this is our eighth year doing it! I began this event as a way to honor the memory of artist Mike Wieringo after he passed away, and the event has grown each year thanks to the incredibly generous comic community in Central PA!

We're getting this party started at Comix Connection in Mechanicsburg this Saturday. Please go to the Comix Connection site for more cookout information 

If you're anywhere near Central PA or Northern MD then come by to say "HI", bring canned food donations, and let me cook you a free lunch... all for a great cause.

PS - I'll be giving an ORIGINAL Deadpool page to the top donation (in terms of weight), and sketches to the runners up. Just in case you're into that sort of thing ;-)
