Just saw the news story that legendary animator Ollie Johnston died!
This is terrible news, as he was a professional hero of mine. He, and Frank Thomas, helped revolutionize animation. Cartoon films just wouldn't be what they are today if not for these guys!
My heart goes out to his family.

Always sad when someone like that passes away.
This isn't exactly completely related and you may have heard of this already, but it's a complete attack on artists and efforts of the past, present and future. Yeah, I have heard about and am concerned. BUT, I'm doing a little more homework into it.
