Started the inking on my "Game Changer" book a few weeks back, but I'm taking a quick break from it to work on another project, so I figured it's a good time to post more teaser art.
Previous "Game Changer" posts here.
Enjoy :)

Mike...this is AMAZING. You're best work YET, IMO. I've been a fan of your work since I started following you on Un-Men, but I gotta say, that this is incredible. The imagery, the line work, the panel layouts. Unbelievable. I can't wait to see this finished. There, done gushing. Your artist ego should be full for the day. :D
Sorry for the second comment, but I had a question...I notice that for your pencils, you look to use a standard lead pencil, and not a non-repro blue. Can you maybe elaborate on that choice in your process? Does the dark lead help you work out inking choices ahead of time? Just curious. Again..awesome.
Hey man! Thanks for the kind words. This one's very close to my heart, so I really appreciate it.
The pencil doesn't affect the inks other then to define what goes where. But I've been switching between graphite, blue, and red pencils.
I scan the pencils into Photoshop, bump up the contrast, then convert it to bluelines before printing a whole new board to ink. So the pencils never really see ink, in the traditional sense.
Hope that answers your question.

this shit looks insane! If they put anything other than an awesome colorist on this, I'm going Lee Malvo on their ass!
great work!
Thanks, bro. I'm trying :)
No colors on this. It'll be a B$W graphic novel, with a little tone from me.
Thanks again!
that's actually better... no random sniping will be needed, then...
Keep your options open. You never know...
Totally answers my question, Mike. Might have to try that technique sometime myself.
And I'm happy to hear this will be B&W. I'd hate to see all that fabulous linework hidden by color!
Glad to be of service :)
Mike
Nice inks, man. looking real dope!
this project looks phenomenal.
Alejandro - Thank you, man. I appreciate it :)
Tomer - Thank you, sir. High praise coming from you. Hope you're well. :)
This is looking great man. I think your pen style has truly gone to the next level. This is giving me a Knowlan vibe with the linear texture. Absolutely rich stuff man.
Thanks, Asa. You honor me, dude :)
How you doing? Well I hope. Haven't rapped to you in a while!
Mike
