Heracles process

Just posted my Hercules, or rather my Heracles, over on Comic Twart. Never did quite hit the mark the way I had intended to. Not sure why, but such is life.

Here's a look at the process behind the piece.

Heh...you know on that last drawing, it is funny because I just got done re-reading Daredevil: The Man Without Fear and after seeing that great JRJR art, that last drawing really reminds me of how Al Williamson (RIP) inked JRJR on that series.

Using the fine lines for shading for the most part rather than using the solid black areas.

As much as I appreciate Scott Hanna and Klaus Janson, man, just can't top Al in my book. And I love Klaus' artwork.
