Sturgeon River preview

Speaking of up coming projects, here is the only one I CAN say for sure is coming - my next graphic novel with UMBRA writer Steve Murphy. This one is called Sturgeon River, a coming of age story that is set in the 70's. It tells of a night of teen aged vandalism, and how it affects these four friend's relationship. Really touching stuff, believe me.

Oh, and it's a true story! Forgot to mention that part.

Very different from my earlier books, it allowed me the opportunity to stretch my legs a bit and even incorporate some abstract elements into my work.

I'll show you guys more in the coming weeks.

best,
Mike

PS - Murph has been showing previews over at his blog too, if you're interested,

I'll announce it here first. We don't have a publisher lined up yet, so we've got no idea when it would bein Previews.

Anyway, thanks for the support! ;)

Awesome stuff as usual. It is kind of sad that when you post something, I kind of expect to be amazed at the drawing. I guess that is cool that you've gotten to that level with your art.

Hopefully you get a publisher lined up for this. Shame to see it go to waste. I'd think this sounds and looks like this would be right up Top Shelf's or Oni's alley.

Thanks guys. I really do appreciate the kindness. More then you know.

I'd love to work with Top Shelf. They actually know about the book. Murph showed it to them a while back, and they seemed kinda interested but wanted to see more of it.

So, who knows? ;)
