Dark Horse ran a five page preview of CONAN #1, with inks by Mr. John Lucas, so I figured I'd show the pencils here.
Issues one and two are available for pre-order, so let your local comic shop know to reserve you a copy.

Dude...this stuff is sick. Wow, thanks for posting the pencils. I often find those much more interesting to look at then even the final work.

Art, as always, is stunning. I've been reading old Savage Sword of Conan mags and i'm right at the point where Conan's a buccaneer (as written by Roy), so it doesn't seem like a day has passed :-)
Thanks guys! I'm working in some mighty big shadows when it comes to past Conan artists, so i gotta stay sharp ;-)
